A new and simpler system for toll passages on the mountain roads has been introduced \u2013 benefiting both users and the management of the road network. Pihl will now operate the toll system for the entire road network \u2013 including the winter operation of the toll booth at Stor\u00e5sen. This makes it easier for all users and provides a single, comprehensive solution throughout the year. <\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n

Simplified Toll System<\/strong>Now you get access to 120 km of road throughout the year with one discounted subscription at Youpark.no<\/a>.In addition to existing toll booths, a new facility with license plate recognition was established after Aksj\u00f8en in November 2025, for entry towards \u00c5stdalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For entry to Stor\u00e5sen and Elg\u00e5sen, half the rate is paid. For further entry after Aksj\u00f8en, a new half rate is paid, so that the total paid corresponds to the rate for the entire road network. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The subscription offered is a discounted value card<\/a><\/strong>. This is a further development of the clip cards, but based on a balance. The amount for entry will be deducted directly from your subscription balance upon passage. You can add up to 10 vehicles to the subscription. Your value card balance can be found on your user account at Youpark.no<\/a>, under the “Subscription” tab.<\/p>\n\n
