Kroksjølia is a very popular part of Sjusjøen with immediate access to groomed ski trails and excellent hiking terrain. Sjusjøen has been repeatedly named Norway’s best cross-country skiing destination, and from Kroksjølia, you get access to 350 km of high-quality, groomed cross-country trails. The trail network at Sjusjøen connects with Øyerfjellet, Nordseter, and the rest of Ringsakerfjellet. Here you’ll find countless ski trails in fantastic mountain terrain. The ski season here at Sjusjøen is usually long and snowy. To ensure this, preparations are made for early grooming of the first trails.
At Sjusjøen and in the rest of Ringsakerfjellet, there are diverse hiking opportunities on foot and by bike. Here you will find marked trails and varied terrain, from old-growth forest to high mountain landscapes.
Sjusjøen offers a varied range of activities with experiences for the whole family – all year round! Sjusjøen Skisenter is a family-friendly alpine resort, only a 15-minute drive from the area.
For those who enjoy hunting, fishing, nature, and outdoor life, there are large, excellent areas in the Ringsaker hunting and fishing area.
Access
Kroksjølia is approximately a 30-minute drive from Lillehammer and about 2 hours from Oslo.
Follow Sjusjøvegen through Sjusjøen center and the toll booth at Storåsen. The plot areas are located on both sides of Birkebeinervegen before Kroksjøen.
