All hunting and fishing is organized through Ringsaker Jakt- og Fiskeområde. RJFO is an association of the properties Pihl AS and the Brøttum, Ringsaker, Veldre, Furnes, and Nes commons. Within this area, which totals 600,000 decares, anyone can purchase licenses for small game hunting and fishing. It is also possible to rent forest cabins in Ringsakerfjellet.
