Annex
Annexes contain living quarters and therefore require a building permit from Ringsaker Municipality. As landowners, we must provide a statement regarding the building application. Pihl receives a copy of the building application from Ringsaker Municipality.

Outbuildings
Detached buildings up to 30 m² of usable area that are not used as living quarters only require permission from the landowner, Pihl AS. Applications are submitted via the form at the bottom of the page.
To approve the measure, we need:
– A site plan showing the placement
– A simple facade drawing showing the area, ridge height, and eave height
It is up to the cottage owner/leaseholder to ensure that construction complies with the municipal plan and the area’s zoning plan. Pihl cannot approve measures that fall outside municipal regulations.
Total building area must comply with the provisions in the municipal plan or zoning plan for the applicable area. Buildings must have a gabled roof with a ridge. The maximum permitted ridge height is 4 m.
The maximum distance between a cottage and an outbuilding/shed is 8 m, and the minimum distance to another building is 1 m. If the leasehold plot borders a surveyed property plot, the minimum distance to the property line is 1 m.
Affected neighbors should be notified.
You must inform the municipality about the building’s location when it is completed, so that the location can be entered into the municipality’s map database.
