Status for Birkebeinervegen
Birkebeinervegen runs from Sjusjøen to Messelt in Stor Elvdal.
From Sjusjøen it goes northeast past cabin areas and mountain pastures: Storåsen, Kroksjøen, Kuåsen, Elgåsen, Aksjøen, Storstilen and Øvre Åstbru toll station and Gammelskolla.
Birkebeinervegen is closed from Gammelskolla during the winter season, usually from around the start of November until mid-June.
