Pihl AS can approve the erection of fences within current regulations. Applications must be submitted via the form at the bottom of the page.
Rules for fencing recreational plots in Ringsakerfjellet are included in the Municipal Land Use Plan 2025-2040 for Ringsaker municipality, recreational development section 2.3.8:
“For building areas designated for recreational development in the mountain area, fencing of a smaller area is permitted in connection with the entrance, parking, and/or outdoor living space to prevent grazing animals from accessing it. A maximum of 60 linear meters of fencing is allowed. Where regulations in a zoning plan specify common fencing, these apply. Fences must be made of wood and designed so that grazing animals do not get stuck.”
The main emphasis should be on designing fencing for the parking space and entrance area, estimated at approximately 16 meters of fence. If you do not wish to fence in the parking space and entrance area, this can be postponed. The remaining meters of fence available, approximately 44 m, can be used in connection with the cabin and can preferably be connected to railings that may be by the terrace.
A patio can only have a fence.
The erection of a fence must enclose an area. A fence cannot be set up as a screen.
Electric, mesh, or wire fences are not permitted, as they pose a danger to grazing animals getting stuck.

How to apply
Applications are submitted via the form at the bottom of the page.
